Driscoll feeds the hungry gospel labourer at Sydney Anglicans
The stats are out on who clicked on what the most at Sydney Anglicans. Great article by Jeremy here.
Not surprising, anything with Driscoll in it gets uberhits, whilst least sexy bits like africa and prayer were largely ignored. There is just something about Driscoll that fascinates everybody. I like to think of him as Phillip Jensen with tattoos and American entrepreneurial panache. He could sell ice to Eskimoes.
you tend to love em or hate em – or at least be mildly infuriated by them, whilst deeply appreciating there prolific influence and prophetic power.

a biblical reason for separation
In the recent controversy regarding Sydney Anglican Bishops withdrawing from Lambeth, Phillip Jensen game a very sound talk on when it is appropraite to withdraw from fellowship. It is an excellent handling of all the revelant biblical texts. You can find it here at SydAngs . It did leave me wondering about how we might apply these principles more locally when we see false teaching and behaviour that is not consistant with the gospel of Jesus.
